    Why casting a regenerator instead of using a mesh in a accoustic stirling ?

    As accoustic  stirlings tend to have higher working frequencyes and lower pressure differences, they need more flow to have the same power output. as a result  the pressure drop over the regenerator becomes more important so

    Yes, Swift prefers in his book also regenerators with channels!

    I also have a picture of a ceramic casted regenerator but I could not find it!
